07 - 10 July 2016 Fenstanton/Cambridgeshire
Five years on since our first Fringe in the Fen, we're thrilled to be returning to Fenstanton in July 2016. Focused over a long weekend, our 2016 festival commemorates the 300th anniversary of the birth of the village’s most famous resident, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. We have a packed programme of incredible music and extraordinary musicians, bringing to life music that celebrates the architecture of our landscapes and the great outdoors. Once again, we will be raising funds for the truly excellent work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
With the welcome return of some artists from our previous festivals and the introduction of some fantastic new talent, this year promises to be the most thrilling yet, including return visits from John Rutter, violinist Jamie Campbell and the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge. Once again, the festival will draw to a close with another memorable Proms in the Park finale, with the Covent Garden Chamber Orchestra this year joining us for the first time.
Our concerts often sell out well before the event, so don't miss out on booking your tickets in good time. We can promise you some extraordinary music making, and in return you will be helping us to donate to this very deserving charity.
We look forward to seeing you!
Why do we all do it?
We are MACMILLAN
